How it Works
The Library’s Summer Reading Program isn’t just for kids — Adults can participate too! Read at least 12 books over the summer and you’ll be eligible to win one of 5 prizes: either a $40 gift card from The Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza (3 prizes) or a $40 gift card from fin-your fishmonger (2 prizes) in Guilderland! The books you read can be any format — audiobook, eBook, or regular print. It can be a book of short stories or poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or graphic novel. The simple goal is: READ!

- Adults must log at least 12 books to be eligible to win!
We hope you have a wonderful, peaceful and healthy summer filled with lots of reading!
Online Book Clubs
We have three great book clubs for adults happening online this summer! Night Owls, our book group run by librarian Maura Powers-Smith, reads the best reviewed and most-discussed fiction AND non-fiction. Memoirs in the Morning, run by Josalyn Wilder, reads the best current biographies and memoirs. Green Reads, led by Maria Buhl, is a book group on nature, health, and the environment.
