The Guilderland Public Library is committed to presenting new ways to learn computer and technology skills!
Our volunteer computer coach is an expert at everything Apple! Learn how to use anything from an Apple Watch to an iPhone to a Macbook! Our coach can also assist with resume preparation using the library’s Learning Express database tool.
One-on-one appointments are in-person and last one hour. To register, visit our technology instruction calendar and click on any appointment. Please provide an email address when you register. If you are unable to register, it is likely that the appointment spot is full – please choose another day.
Go to Brainfuse to access Microsoft Office tutorials or connect with an online tutor. All services are free of cost. Microsoft Office tutorials offer beginner and professional instruction. Tutors offer one-on-one learning on a variety of topics, including:
– Microsoft Office products
– Career Resources
– Writing a Resume
– Test Prep (US Citizenship, Early/Middle/High School Subjects, High School Equivalency Exam)
– Writing Skills

At this time, the Guilderland Public Library is offering occasional technology courses on a variety of topics – check our calendar for the most up-to-date information. These courses are typically presented in a “classroom setting” via virtual meeting software, such as Zoom and GoTo Meeting.
In the past, we’ve offered programs on Google Docs, virtual meetings, organizational tools, and more.
