How Does It Work?
From a computer:
Visit our Print From Anywhere portal, here. Upload a document from your personal computer or device. You can even print directly from a web page! You will retrieve all of your prints using your email address at the Library’s print-release station. You have 72 hours to retrieve your print job.
From the app:
- Download the PrinterON app (links above) and tap “Select Printer” on the bottom of your screen. Tap “Location” on the bottom of your screen to find the Guilderland Public Library, as well as other nearby libraries. If you do not enable location services, you can type in “Guilderland Public Library”.
- Select your printing preferences (ex: black and white, double sided, color), and upload your documents. On the “Preview” page, select the green PRINT button.
- You will then be asked to type in your email address. Lastly, you must tap the check mark in the upper right corner of the screen to send your print job to the printer. The app will tell you if the print job has “started”. You will get a green success message or a red error message if the print job did not go through. You have 72 hours to retrieve your print job.
- Please note — It may take several minutes for the Guilderland Library to receive the print job, even if you see the success message. We encourage you to call the reference desk at 518-456-2400 x 3, and we can confirm that your job is in the queue.
Black and white prints are $0.20 per page, and color prints are $0.50 per page.
Note: You can choose double-sided printing, and the cost will be $0.20 or $0.50 per side.
